Following a BSc in Psychology at the University of Nottingham, I came to Cambridge in 1994 to study for a PhD in colour perception. I then moved into university administration, becoming a research contracts administrator at the University of Oxford. I later returned to Cambridge to continue contract negotiation in the University’s Research Office, eventually heading the contract negotiation team before taking up a research policy role in 2009. I joined the Registrary’s Office as Audit and Regulatory Compliance Officer in October 2013. In this role I am Assistant Secretary to the University’s Audit Committee, Secretary to the Risk Steering Committee, and support emergency and continuity management activities.
