I am currently Secretary of the School of Biological Science s- a senior professional services role that provides strategic leadership for professional service staff in the School and its facilities and departments. In this role, I work closely with the Head of School to help shape and implement the School’s academic strategy.
I have over 25 years experience of working in Higher Education, at the University Cambridge, the Open University and the former Higher Education Funding Council for England.
As University Council member I am interested in contributing to the following areas of university business: governance and assurance, policy, equality and inclusion, organisational and academic strategy, people strategy (recruitment, retention, career and skills) development, financial and environmental sustainability.
