I’m studying for an MPhil in Pathology at Christ’s, where I studied Natural Science as an undergraduate, and where I had the privilege of being elected twice as JCR President from July 2021 to December 2022. I also serve in local government on Cambridge City Council, representing West Chesterton. I’m very grateful to have been elected to the University Council for a second year, and hope to build bridges between University and City governance to help us work together on our shared aims. In particular, I intend to work on reducing inequalities between colleges, such as with student rent levels, and on keeping climate action on the agenda despite the context of planning and resource limitations.
